Original Clock Designs

All of our handcrafted wood clocks are our own original designs. Traditional style clocks to very contemporary - each clock is unique & unusual - but with timeless appeal and made to compliment any decor.

Handmade in the USA

Each clock is individually & personally handmade by us (no imports) in our small Minneapolis Minnesota workshop. When we say handmade - we mean from the selection of the wood to the last coat of varnish.

100% Hard-Wood Clocks

All of our unique handcrafted clocks are 100% solid hard-wood ~ no pine, plywood, laminates, or a 'stain' over who-knows-what. Our standard woods are Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Maple & Ash; though other woods may be available. Our multi-wood (combining different woods) clocks are very popular. We do offer a variety of wood stains & dyes to enhance the grain or add color - but the wood that is referenced in the description is the actual wood the clock is made of.

Clock Inserts vs Clock Movements

Our unusual wood clock designs use either clock 'inserts' or clock 'movements'.
Clock Inserts are separate complete units that are 'inserted' into the wood clock design. To replace the battery or change the time, you simply pull out the clock insert from the wood.
Clock Movements are the mechanisms that power clock hands (and pendulum, if applicable). Clocks with 'movements' also need separate hands, and either numbers or dots for the dial. The clock movement is set into the back of the wood clock design, to be accessible for battery replacement. Because of this, these clocks are typically wall clocks, where the movement would not be seen.

Custom Made Clocks

We offer a variety of unique handcrafted wood clock designs, and replace sold clocks with similar pieces (though no two clocks are ever exactly the same).
